MY QUESTION; and I believe this has come up several times previously, but I don't recall what the final conclusion on this debate was exactly? ..nor do I care!

PREAMBLE; and here is, an example of what I do do: for example, when I propagate certain named hosta-types for the purpose of selling them wholesale to Nurseries.  I am not in the habit of culling (trashing?) named plants, which I paid my good & hard earned cash-money for/to acquire new hostas, so here's some examples:
1) June hosta ...reverts back to it's green parental form, so a *Halcyon* label goes on it and it is sold as same!
2) Great Expectations ...the reverse-sporting moves back to all green = H. seiboldiana Elegans label goes on it and they are moved out likewise.
3) Undulata Univitata ...becomes a stable green = sold as Erromena!
4) Choko Nishiki/on stage ..green revertion = are sold as straight montanas; 12 oclock color position.
5) Etcetera... and so forth... by leaf coloring, the hosta wheel formulas and pedigrees of the hostas?

Conclusion ...I personally don't care, what anyone thinks about my labelling procedures <<it's just a hobby to me?>>and since, I'm not about to begin, to grow any hostas for several years; and then, go about trashing them because they reverted into one of it's parental forms, or another <--and--> I don't see any problem, with this kind of label-maneuvering? ..done on purpose! -- DO YOU? LOL!
THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS MATTER:
        Whether the Patriot mutation, sitting at 10/11 oclock by it's leaf coloring, is labelled Loyalist, or "fire n' ice" <-> DOES ANYONE HONESTLY THINK!   ..anybody, really cares?  The Buyer and/or seller-nursery, for example, want a nice white medio-hosta when they bought/sold it, so do you seriously think they care if we even labelled it *NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS* for that matter; and particularly when, the Nursery sees/meets their 1000 per cent marked-up retail-pricing; and the consumer, got the white centered hosta, desired in the first place?

the above, is simply my viewpoint, the way I see it, from where I'm sitting: and that's exactly how it's done here! ..thank you very much?

ps ...there are no signs at my place reading *HOSTAS FOR SALE* and I don't sell any hostas!  I do do a lotta horse-trading tho' <-> with hostas that is? ..and foolin around to!  It's just a game to me <<not a business - I do have a full time jog>>:  to kick-away the boredom of having nuttin better to do?  BTW ...This is a long weekend in Canada, so what else would I do for fun & laughter, if I didn't have a quad'zillion hosta labels to make & play with for y'all? *LOL*

They tell me, hired help does mis'label, but then, I have no hired help here ...just a one-man Donkey!  ...no riders allowed? "tata" & "gid'dee'yup ya'ole mule"?
