In general I agree with what you and Jim and the others have said about the
Robin (although in fairness, I have never been a member). But I am
concerned about the statement below. Posts to one list, IMHO, should NEVER
be forwarded to another list without agreement of the author. 

I realize the Net (and the lists) are considered public communication and
as such, what you have suggested is not "illegal" in any sense. But
courtesy to other hosta-open members should guide us here, not legalities.
