Re: cherry berry -> maraschino cherry?

For what's it worth.......

I heard that Maraschino Cherry is the green cull of t.c. produced Cherry Berry. I think the green reversion of Cherry Berry we see in our gardens is mostly Maraschino Cherry.

But very likely some green forms are going to arise that are not Maraschino Cherry.

Thanks bob for the pic.  The pic you ref'd is
similar to what it looked like last year.  But
this year it is diffrent.  Like I said, the
substance is like 5x compared to the leaves on
Cherry Berry and they point straight up, with no
drooping.  I also looked at the pic of Maraschino
Cherry in the Lib and neither quite look right or
atleast similar to what is going on with mine.
I'll likely keep it around and try setting some
seed with it this year.  Who knows.

Thanks again,
Mike

Hi Mike
See for yourself. I have never been too crazy about cherry
berry, I
don't like how floppy it is, seems to have little substance. The green
doesn't seem much better. That is why I am never in a hurry to separate
them. This cherry berry has almost totally gone to green.
