CD's and Partoe Articles

Barry,
    Re CD's of back issues of GATW, I am not sure how it would work to
make them text searchable.  If they are scanned and put on a CD as jpg
files, do not think it would work.  If they are entered as text with the
searchable feature, would not the text need to be entered as text.
Someone out there must know how this would work.
    And, Cynthia Pardoe articles would be wonderful, the more the
better.
