Re: new plants on scapes?

These are called 'proliferations' and are the same as the parent plant.
In my experience, as long as the bloomscape is green, they will continue
to grow, and will begin to form small roots. When the scape starts to brown,
cut the stem above and below the proliferation and place it in some sandy
potting mix and keep it damp.  It should continue to root  until it forms a mature
plant.
