Deck gardening

Hi!
I joined this list to learn about deck gardening. My wife and I are both
disabled. I have spina bifida and use a wheelchair to get around and she is
legally blind. We have numerous house plants which seem to be growing like
"wild-fire". however, our deck plants leave a lot to be desired. This is the
first year we plant bulbs that are supposedly designed for container
gardening. If anyone has any suggestions on deck/container gardening, that
would be helpfup. Thanks.
