Good Morning, I do not know if my father is someone you could use or not.
He has about a quarter acre garden, he is 91 at the end of this mnth and
has a hip with no cartiledge and Parkinsons, He has 18 or so kinds of cane
berries, a veg garden and he grows sunflowers and dalias of many kinds. He
has gardened all of his life and the garden has evolved over the years. He
shows at the county and local fair quite extensively though my brother Bill
helps him get ready. He also raises show poultry though he has cut back on
the number of birds.
You can reach him through my sister at nnshearer@aol.com or through me.
His name is Bill Shearer (Dr Wm N Shearer PhD) He says he got his degree
in colloidal chemistry when it was more of an art than a science.
Hope you got lots of gardeners to interview
Mary
