I just got a rude surprise today. I have a very nice aglaeonema that I've
had for 3 years, which has even bloomed recently. I bought it in a small
pot with 3 plants in it, and repotted it into a larger pot (about 8") 2
years ago. My husband was moving furniture today, and the plant got knocked
over. I couldn't believe it when I saw that this huge plant had a tiny
little root ball that hasn't spread out *at all* since I repotted it. I
can't believe the whole thing didn't tip over under just it's own weight.
Why on earth would this happen? Am I keeping it too dry? I don't want to
lose this plant because it's very large and quite beautiful.
