Brass hoops? What a concept! Mine are in boring hangers, and they are all
wound around themselves and the ceiling hooks. Mine are in a west
window, too, and I feed a diluted solution of Miracle Grow every time I
water.
I guess I'll try something different. I have a plain and a variegated Hoya
Carnosa and the one that is sometimes called Hindu Rope Vine, because it is
all twisted. When I lived on the coast I had a Hoya Bella that bloomed like
crazy all of the time. One of my houseplant books says to pot them in cactus
soil, and let them dry out between waterings. I have'nt done the former, but
i do the latter. Oh well ... . if the're meant to bloom, they will!
