The problem with mine was that I wasn't giving it enough light, and I kept
forgetting to feed it. At least I think that was the problem! About a year
ago I moved it to hang in front of a west window, and gave it lots of
sunlight (but not hot, baking sunlight). And I started feeding it bloom
booster (Schultz' Bloom Plus, 10-60-10). I think another problem was that
when I repotted it 4 years ago I put it into too big a pot.
My grandmother has about 6 different hoya varieties, and they bloom
regularly. She has them in a very bright east-facing breakfast nook, and
they've been in the same pots as long as I can remember (at least 10 years).
I grow mine the same way she does, on brass hoops.
