Welcome to our two new members!   I read Andrea's post and thought Yes!
running out of room!  I'm sure we're all facing the same problems, so,
let's get some ideas going!

Here's a question:  I have a perfectly nice south-facing 6'x4' bedroom
window that I've been reluctant to use for plants because of the problem of
not being able to use curtains or blinds at night to block the light.
Also, the window opens sideways and the wide, carpeted sill is my cat
Beanie's favorite world-watching perch.

Has anyone built or bought the kind of plant shelves that fit inside a
window frame?
