One suggestion might be a bamboo pole or a white steel (if the ceiling is
white) pole sold in the large home store decorating depts. attached to the
ceiling a foot or so from the window and wall.  You could suspend a few pots
there.  Another idea is the swing arm fixtures that allow plants to move
closer to the windows or away as wanted.
