Nancy,

As far as I am aware, there is still not a true yellow AV.  They are
more shades of yellow mixed with pink or white flowers.  Sorry to hear
that yours is so unattractive to you.  Do you have an AV crazy friend? 
Maybe you could trade your yellow for a semi or mini AV.  

Can someone please tell me what Hoyas are?  I keep seeing them mentioned
but have never seen one.
