Re: poinsettias

According to the book _Crockett's_Indoor_Garden_, by James Crockett:

To get a poinsetta to bloom again:
When the bracts fade, cut the plant back and repot.
Starting around Sept. 21 and continuing through the end of October,
give 9-10 hours of bright indirect or sunny light and 14-15 hours of
COMPLETE dark, with night temp about 65 degrees. if the routine is
broken
or they are not given complete dark, the plant will refuse to bud.
Once the buds form (by the first of November), and the plant can be
brought back to its normal spot in the house.
