Re: new subject: neomarica

Hi Claire:
I have never grown any of the Hoyas. I did see some in one of the Home
Depot stores in Portland, Oregon recently. They were huge, and all of them
were blooming. They had runners which seemed to be at least five feet long.
Really spectacular when you see them in mass. I thought about getting one,
but then I realized I have problems finding space for the Sinningias I grow
from seed. There never seems to be enough room for all the plants I want to
grow.

I did find a site in Sweden which seems to have many of the Hoya described.
Looks like an interesting page for someone interested in growing other than
the Hoya carnosa which seemed to be the only one grown in homes for a very
long time.

Hope this helps:

Take care,
