Claire:

I like hoya bella and H. multiflora. Bella is a minature that makes a very
restrained basket plant. Clusters of white flowers with pink centres but no
perfume that I can detect. It is a very prolific bloomer (I just counted 20
clusters on a plant in a six inch basket, the stems not reaching below the
bottom of the basket) but has spells in between with new growth that make it
look like it had a super infestation of mites. However, most hoyas, like
orchids, are not very glamorous when not in bloom.

Hoya multiflora is completley different. It grows vinelike but with a
strong stem. Mine is about 3 feet high and staked. It only has one stem
and I would like to cut it back to make it branch but it won't stop
blooming. Has bloomed from every leaf axil since I got it as a cutting.
The flowers are different, an open cluster with 2" stems to every flower.
The flowers are windswept like cyclamen and pale yellow. It seems to drop
its spurs so only blooms once from each spur as does bella..

I have hoya carnosa tricolor which blooms occasionally but nothing like
these two.

Hope this helps.
