Dear Cindy, What you say may be true, but you also have to understand that
living w/someone else may mean that you do not have the same interests.
When that happens, you can't overwhelm the other person by filling the
house up with flora and fauna, because his happiness is important to me
too. It's a 2 way street and you can't go around saying, "If you really
loved me then you'd let me do ---." My husband has said nothing while a
large dog, 2 turtles and 14 birds and lots of fish came in here, plus
more plants than I can count. It was only the last thing, a koi, that
sparked comment from him. If I complain, I guess it's recreational
complaining. I thought that was apparent. :) Lauren B. Z6 NY
