That plant is one of the foulest-smelling ones I've ever got wind of.
When I dug up a bunch from my ex-husband's house :-) and
transplanted them over at my dad's, the smell was awful! I'm not
even sure how to describe it. I think it was coming from the broken
roots. Ugh.

There is an outdoor gardening list. The e-mail address for it is
GARDENS@LSV.UKY.EDU. When I was on it (about a year ago) it was
generating about 200 posts a day and most of it was just unrelated
chat. Maybe it's changed since then.
