Re: Areca Palm Help Needed


Christine, I had an areca palm once (one of my first plants ever) and
it turned yellow and brown and died.  Two reasons: first, my
roommate's dog was regularly peeing on it.  Second, it had a case of
scale which I was never able to solve (guess the plant was too
stressed over the treatment from the dog).

I hope you & your friend find a way to rescue his palm.
