Are you talking about your Aeschenanthus (sp?) here? Somehow I lost track
of the thread. If so, thanks for the good advice. I have tried repeatedly
to grow this, with no success. Never occurred to me to treat it like an AV
(even though I knew it was a gesneriad). So I have burned in too much sun,
shaded it out, overwatered and underwatered it. Oh, and chilled and baked
it. Will try yet again, using your advice above (assuming your answer to
this is Yes); it's a gorgeous plant when grown well!
One more question. Sounds like you grow it inside full time..Do you ever
let it "vacation" out-of-doors through the summer (as I do with all my
plants except the AV's and Phalanopsis)? Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong..
