It goes through some really slow periods, the only time it really seems to
pick up is late fall and winter. Welcome to the list, Kelly!
I live in an apartment so all I can do is indoor gardening and some
containers. I grow mostly African violets but also have a variety of
regular houseplants...pothos, schefflera, diffenbachia, swedish ivy,
rosemary, some orchids (struggling to get them to bloom), lipstick plant,
goldfish plant, ficus, jade plant, etc. Your schefflera sounds pretty
impressive!:-)

That's really weird. A lot of times when you put out compost or manure
mushrooms will sprout from it, but I don't have a clue why your pot indoors
would do such a thing, especially since you haven't done anything to the
soil. If they're really weird and neat looking, I'd go ahead and leave them
if there's no danger of someone tasting them (curious pets or children).
