Kathy;
Don't worry, it's probably fine. It may take a while to start
growing..Don't water it again until you see new growth coming out of the
bulb (unless it takes a long time and gets bone dry). Hint: If the new
shoot has a little notch at the top, its a flowering stalk. If not, it is a
leaf. Don't panic, sometimes they throw up leaves first, sometimes the bud.
