AV seed

May have asked this before; everybody make allowances for my senile mind. :-)

Any tricks to germinating African Violet seed? Cover? Don't cover?

And related: Received an order from Tinari the other day. Three standard
AV's and three trailers. Just gorgeous! One of the standards is 'Tomahawk,'
supposed to be the reddest AV around. And it certainly is the best red
(under incandescent light, anyway) I've ever seen.
