rooting scheffleras

Thanks, Tom. I'm not a plant expert but I'll trade plant info for
computer info any time! You can cut your schefflera back. I did mine
last year and all the cuttings rooted just fine. I've rooted gardenias,
double altheas, jasmine. I haven't done air-layering except for my
magnolia tree. I read that in the olden days they put a brick on a
branch of the magnolia tree to hold it to the ground and root it. So I
tried it about a year ago, and it seems to be well rooted and about 18"
tall. Haven't decided if I should try to move it. Oh, I'm in Texas,
too. Margaret. m.noack@imsday.com
