There is a breeder's manual, AHS Bulletin #2, available from the American
Hibiscus Society, altho I've been told that the chapter in The Hibiscus
Handbook on hybridizing may be more helpful. To find out how to order the
handbook, go to the publications page at our Web site.
Aside from the above, our tropical hibiscus mail list is an excellent
source of information.
Hybridizing is a tremendous amount of fun and with the wide variety of
colors in tropical hibiscus, it's a great plant to hybridize.
