Thanks for the reply- i am providing humidity with a mixture of pebbles and clay granules. I also happen to have a small humifier in my office. Air humidity reaches about 25 to 30%. Also, thanks for the tip about wet feet- it was soaking a little on Friday for a few hours, but I'll keep an eye on that from now on.
I'd really like this one to live, because I have a poor track record with benjis. You know what was interesting? I met a woman in my building who said she had a benji which "died". Too lazy to carry it down to the garbage, she put it in a closet for over a year. When she set it out to remind herself to get rid of it, it started putting out leaves. Do these have a dormancy capability, or is she mistaken about the type of plant??
