I'd suggest hardening them off just like you would in the spring,
but in reverse.  The differences between a house environment and
a porch environment are absolutely incredible and the sudden
shock of coming in could send them into disaster.  

For about a week, bring them in only at night.  The temps,
humidity and air currents of a house that's asleep are closer to
what they are outdoors than during the day.  After they're used
to being in all night, they should be able to be brought in
permanently.

Don't put it off too long, either.  Impatiens turn mushy and
black if you stand behind them and shout "Frost!"...
