Hi!
Just checking in to say I'm jealous of you all when you talk about your
exotic plants! I'm proud that I have found "the window" for my violets in
my new house. During the winter I'll have to put them under lights but it
is a good three-season, guaranteed to bloom window. That is the good thing
with having a lot of windows facing north this far north.
Because of the move I have to admit that I haven't taking good care of my
plants and a few have really gotten infested with spider mites. Then I had
problems with some kind of bug(?) in the dirt that ate the roots and the
only sign of trouble was that the plant stopped growing and then suddenly
died. I watered with a pesticide and now everything seems ok. Anyone know
what it could have been? I couldn't see any bugs.
Otherwise my plants seem to be adjusting. Hope everyone else's are also
doing well.
