Dear Diana & Others,I recently bought a small hypertufa trough at a local nursery & 5 (probably too many) plants to put in it. A couple years ago, I went to two workshops on making hypertufa troughs, made two troughs, left them outside & they broke in half. I suspect that happened because we didn't put chicken wire in them while we were making them. I do have a carport that I could put the trough under during the winter. Any thoughts on this? Also what type of soil do you put in it? Potting soil, regular dirt, any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Judy Showers
