I grow a few 'Yolande d'Aragon', an old rose of the richest dark pink,
extremely fragrant, nice strong, healthy foliage... and typical globular
flowers, as any rose can have. Alas, only flowers once a year, but is a
real charmer!.
A problem with globular roses in my climate (zone 9, very wet) is that
they may not open properly sometimes due to lack of sun, or may rot in the
bush (!!!) due to excess of rain, when there is no time between shower and
shower for the flowers to dry!. Have you experienced this?...
Anyway, I treasure my beloved 'Yolande d'Aragon': it has, together with
my 'Mme. Isaac Pereire' and and my 'Parfum de l'Hay' the richest scent of
my collection.
Greetings
