The bad news is that Susan was "right on" with regards to spraying rugosas -
don't do it!
The good news is that rugosas are amongst the toughest roses on the planet,
and don't require alot of maintenance. What they do require is a definite
winters rest, and cool roots year round. Great idea for New Zealand,
definitely not a good idea for Queensland!
