I am a mere novice at growing roses and am not having much success, but I must
say that the 2 rugosas I have are going great guns. They seem to be quite
happy with neglect--lots of pretty blossoms and attractive foliage--and appear
to have no black spot problem at all. I can't remember if they've ever had
aphids, but if they have it hasn't been difficult to cure. I love their
rather tousled, cottage garden-y look!
