don't know anything about roses

Hi Carleen,

I wasn't thinking too well when I planted these roses. They are on the
east side of the house, but right on the corner is a huge overgrown
evergreen bush that is just ugly that is probably blocking a lot of the
afternoon sun. Of course, my husband doesn't think that it is ugly or
overgrown. I think I will just have to cut it down one day when he is
at work and then enlist his help to get the stump out!

They drained good in the pots, they sat on the ground and they had good
holes in the bottom.

I thought that ramblers would be good for my ugly shed too, but I don't
know where to find any. I read an article about ramblers in my
*favorite* magazine "Country Living" and I fell in love with them. Are
they heavy? I think this shed is strong. It just has a dirt floor, but
it feels sturdy. First I have to dig up some raspberries that are on
the side that I want to plant roses. My husband, who doesn't like
change, is having a fit about that too. It's funny he complains that
everything is "just fine" while I am changing it and then he likes it!

I hope I don't have to move my roses again, I like that spot that I put
them, but I realize that they might not like it.

Michelle
