Re: don't know anything about roses

I am not sure but I think this sounds like a miniature rose bush.  Check out

My miniatures require sun and good circulation because they get blackspot on
the leaves if those requirements are not met.  Mine did not bloom very well
in spring last year because it was such a strange year.  They quit blooming
entirely in summer and bloomed quite well in fall.  My soil is quite
alkaline.
