Asata,
I also bought Apothecary because of its history, and interesting
medicinal uses in the past. (writings from 77 AD, claim roses were
used to cure 32 diseases.) I would NOT have chosen it just from it's
picture, as I perfer double blooms, dislike singles and am so-so
about semi. But Apothecary is the prettiest semi.
Right now I see I have about 4 or 5 of my "Free" may be identical
roses. I am not in love with the pale clear to nice pink color. Win
some, lose some. Too bad they aren't Apothecary. (These "free" roses
were from HOGR. A special, buy 3 get one free orphan, a perfectly
good rose that has lost it's label, of which I now have 11.)
