[Rose-list] Jewels of the Garden

I had some nice surprises in my garden this year. Newer garden and first
blooms for me, these were note worthy. (most once-blooming)

'Mrs.William Paul' - wonderful Moss rose with dark foliage that
entirely covers the branches, nearly hot pink, (but not too bright)
large, cupped to flat blooms, fragrant and is said to repeat.
Very little blackspot.

'Paul Recault' - a delightful Centifolia of dark pink, full cups on dark
blue-green foliage, disease free and fragrant... wonderful blooms.

'Fantin-Latour' - also a Centifolia with pale pink blooms in clusters that
lay on top a snug bush of full foliage, neat sepals stand about the blooms.
Fabulous garden plant. Nice fragrance.

'Complicata' - a hybrid canina/Gallica (?) I'm not into singles, but this
one is awesome. In full bloom there are more blooms then leaves... a real
eye catcher. Huge flowers of rose pink with creamy yellowish centers, they
fold up at dusk looking like huge butterflies. Is said to have nice hips,
so I'll be sure not to cut off the spent blooms, it self-cleans like
Apothecary.

Sincerely,
~Carleen~
