Re: Grafted vs. ownroot roses/burying the budunion on grafted roses


I own only one grafted rose--a rugosa, Frau Dagmar Hastrup.  I planted the
bud union below the soil surface, though in my zone 9 garden,  it is
recommended that you plant above.  The rose is flourishing, sending up new
canes and generally looking wonderful.
