Finally get to till-up our New rose garden space.
The ground is old pastures, slightly on the clay side,
but looks pretty nice. I plan to till-in some mushroom
compost and little sand. Will amend each rose hole
bottom with old llama manure. Will be in full sun;south
exposure and plan to grow spring bulbs under Old and
English roses in mass islands plantings.
Any other suggestions for soil preparation?
To till-in or to amend to each rose hole?
What do you do?
