Carleen:  The Hardy Plant Society of
Oregon has a subgroup that meets about roses
and climatis, and having been to the group
leader's garden, I'm sure it focuses on old roses
and organic practices.  You'll find them in the
white pages.  It's worth joining for the $20 a
year besides the information, shows and
incredible bi-yearly sales, they put out an open
garden book of other members' gardens you can
visit.  Nearly the best part of the season!
