We think one of the reasons that teas are so popular in some areas is the
very challenge of being able to grow them successfully. Since there are
so many problems to overcome a successful grower knows that they have
done something special. Having grown them successfully in one area of
the country and failing mesably in another I know first hand the
satisfaction of the few victories I now have.
Also teas get much more publicity then any other rose although this seems
to be changing, at least in our area, which is good. We started out with
Teas and probably will alway be heavy into them but slowly other
varieties are finding their way into our gardens.
