I have just gotten some of this product which is said to be used by golf
course
groundskeepers and is an organic with some manure. I have several miniatures
which the rose soil has compacted and "washed down" such that the original
root
ball with soil is showing at the top near the basal brake of the miniature
bushes. Can I use the Vigoro Top dressing as a mulch for these roses to build
back up the soil levels and moderately feed so that the decomposition of the
mulch material will not rob the roses of nitrogen?
