Gees, I've never heard that either. Should I tell my roses that, I don't
think they know either? LOL They've done beautifully in the NEW bed they
were planted in 3 years ago.
I just prepared the soil (ammended), plopped them in the ground, watered
when needed, and they've rewarded me ever since with beautiful blooms.
