Patty - I haven't tried miniature roses yet but maybe you can
comment on something I read recently: that miniature refers
to the size of the flower, not the plant itself, and that they
range in height from 8" to 3-4' plus are notably hardy. Please
comment (p.s. I think I saw Carroll Gardens in Md. had some).
Also, has anyone seen on the web the list of catalogs (roses
and other perennials) and comments on a wide variety of
topics from messed up orders to quality of plants? Very interesting
reading - If anyone's interested I'll try to find the address - Joanie
