[Rose-list] Re: Herbs & Roses

I bought some Lemon Thyme and Catmint, they should cover the ground. 


Which Lavender do you like best ?  I more interested in form then
fragrance, but I'd like both.  I was told that lavender really sets
of the rose fragrance.  Should I just get one that is hardy in our
area ?  

I had a 2 foot bush of rosemary and lost it in our unusually cold
winter this year. Yet near the house my pineapple sage is coming 
back.

The weather man said that the Portland area here today is colder that
Anchorage, Alaska... oh brother, and all we need is a good week of
warm weather and I'll have thousands of rose buds opening.
