Re: Cane Borers

It started on Ivory Tower and was an ugly problem but the bush didn't
seem to mind it just kept growing new canes. Now I am seeing it on some
of the other bushes. I am afraid that I may not have sterlized my pruners
after cutting the bad canes on Ivory Tower. but have been very careful do
so since a society member mentioned that I should be careful to sterlize
that it might spread. But it worries me that I am seeing it on a lot of
my bushes and of course it is hot here in Florida. The die back is back
canes and don't remind me of cane borers but I am puzzled and beginning
to get a bit alarmed.. When I read in the previous post that there were
different borers thought maybe it might be a type I wasn't familar with.
Thanks for the reply
