Chromosome counts in Sansevieria

Dear Ben,

I don't know if there is such a database.

I got my information from a photocopy I made of the actual article I cited.
The article also includes a list of the chromosome counts made by previous
researchers. I have photocopies of many of those articles also.

All the earlier chromosome counts need to be verified. Those made by some
authors are of plants of uncertain identity. For example, Roy (1956) found
diploid counts for plants she identified as Sans.cylindrica and
Sans.nilotica but based on her descriptions, it is more likely she actually
had Sans.aethiopica and Sans.trifasciata.

It would be desirable to get counts for identified plants, especially for
the more recently named species, to see how allied species may compare.

Menzel, M.Y. & Pate, J.B. (1960) CHROMOSOMES AND CROSSING BEHAVIOR OF SOME
SPECIES OF SANSEVIERIA. American Journal of Botany 47 (3): 230-238, 12 figs.

Nazeer, M.A. & Khoshoo, T.N. (1984) CYTOLOGY OF SOME SPECIES OF SANSEVIERIA
THUNB. Cytologia 49 (2): 325-332.

There is also a listing in Fedorov, A. (ed.) (1969) CHROMOSOME NUMBERS OF
FLOWERING PLANTS.

Dear Stephen/others
Is there somewhere, on internet or in literature, a list with all
 chromosome numbers of sansevieria?
