Dear Ben,

Since the paniculate flowered Sansevieria species are notoriously reluctant
to bloom, would the flow cytometry method on vegetative material be a viable
alternative determining ploidy for species in the Sans.arborescens and
Sans.ehrenbergii groups?

If someone send me pollen from S powelli ( and preferable also the
putative parents) I might be able to determine its supposed hybridity
Just collect anthers from a single flower that will open tomorrow
keep them for two days and send it to me
