Re: S. powelli

Hi Ben,

Pfennig made his own crossing of Sansevieria robusta with S. arborescens,
thereby obtaining what he postulated as S. powellii. He gave me a piece of
this plant and I was given cuttings in the University of Cologne, which may
have come from Berlin, where Pfennig had a duplicate of his collection. I do
not find that the sansevierias with a panicled inflorescence are reluctant to
flower. They are just slower growers and take time to reach maturity.
I have three clones of S. powellii. When they flower, I will be glad to send
their pollen.
Best,

Juan
