Greetings:
Due to all the conflict on this list, I have created a new, moderated list
at onelist.com.
If you are willing to talk about these plants as a hobby rather than being
so concerned about the taxonomy, please join this list. Go to:
http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/sansevieriasashobby
Note: I must approve you as a member and you will receive a note from me
asking about your interest in Sansevierias which must be completed before
you will be accepted as a member.
NOTE: To those who received an invitation via onelist.com (and you know
who you are), you will be automatically accepted.
The tone of this email group as changed so much that I feel this is the
best method to deal with it! Some are very concerned about the scientific
accuracy while others view them simply as plants to be enjoyed. Time for an
email group for both types of collectors! Think a bout which list you
belong on. Are you purely a plant lover? If so, please join the
onelist.com list where you will find answers to growing questions. If you
are primarily interested in detailed taxonomy, stay here! NOTE: I have no
objection to people trying to find out proper names. It simply won't be
the main focus of the new list which is designed to attract newcomers to
the hobby.
I will be rejoining Hermine as a co-listowner as soon as we can figure out
how to add me back!
