Re: [SANS] Sansevieria arborescens


Dear Sue;
        I no longer grow S. arborescens becuase it was always so dangerous
and much too vigorous. I kept hacking it back. Don't ever recall seeing
flowers though and don't recall it being any more cold sensitive than most
Sanseviera.
        It was not easy to get rid of it as it is so distinctive and
certainly a conversation piece.
        If anything I kept it underpotted to slow it down. Of course it was
subject to summer tropics (gasp) and winters indoor in too much shade and
cool temps.

        On the other hand if there was good variegated form, I might
reconsider growing it again.
